Amazon.com Review The Weber One-Touch Silver kettle grill is perfect for anyone who wants a well-designed, no-nonsense grill that cooks up food deliciously. Perfect for backyard barbecues or just whipping up an evening meal, this impressive grill has a cooking surface (18-1/2 inches in diameter) big enough to accommodate six large steaks, twice as many burgers, or up to a dozen kebabs. And the One-Touch Silver's classic kettle shape radiates heat evenly and keeps charcoal flare-ups to a minimum. The barbecue pioneers at Weber--they've been making grills since 1951--know how to design a grill that lasts. The One-Touch Silver's porcelain-coated steel bowl and lid are exceptionally strong and designed never to rust, fade, or peel. The grill's hardware is of the highest quality. The aluminum vents and ash catcher won't rust, and the grill's tripod base, nylon handles, and all-weather wheels combine to make this Weber both exceptionally sturdy and easy to maneuver. Weber's patented One-Touch cleaning system--a clever setup of lever-activated blades--sifts ash out of the kettle and into the grill's removable catch pan. You never have to get your hands dirty--and emptying the kettle takes only a few seconds. For those in search (or need) of culinary guidance, Weber includes a 31-page owner's guide filled with cooking tips and time-tested recipes for grilling everything from pork chops to bratwurst to Cornish hens.

Great Little Grill September 23, 2009 Martha J. Rizzo (Cincinnati, Ohio) We just love our new little Webber grill. It is just the right size for two people and even big enough if company drops by. It was very easy to assemble and it is a sturdy grill. We expect to enjoy using it for many years to come.
Weber charcoal grill September 22, 2009 Lawrence Wong After 33 years I finally had to replace my Weber 18-1/2" grill. That old grill sat outside in the patio uncovered, in the open for all those years and rust finally started to appear. So I bought a new Weber 18-1/2" grill. I was disappointed though that the new grill is not as well made as my older grill. The material is much thinner gauge, the enamel finish has thin spots and the lid has very sharp edge around the open end that will cut your skin. I cannot file the edge off as that would expose bare metal to the elements. It is not likely this grill will last as long as my old grill. But it will provide enough years of great grilling to be worth the investment.
My first Grill September 18, 2009 Grill Virgin 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am a grill virgin, this was my first real grill. I works perfectly. I just wish I would have know that 18 1/2" was the height of the grill, I would have gotten the taller option. Nevertheless it worked just fine.
Great grill September 17, 2009 T. Nurmi (Olalla, WA USA) We have a large gas grill but really miss the great flavor, especially with steaks, that you get from charcoal. I bought this with the cover and the chimney to start the coals and am really happy with all three. Very easy to use. Only advice would be if you have a wooden deck be sure to get a good pad before your BBQ is delivered!

Weber grills are the best, and they last for years. I replaced my old weber grill with a new one if that tells you anything.
