great grill! August 15, 2010 marksmom we bought the weber grill online & saved at least $50 & it was not hard to put together. we are VERY satisfied! it heats up quickly & can cook lots of burgers, etc. @ a time. we had a large family party & everyone raved about the food!
The grill itself is great but... August 2, 2010 Nicole C (CA) the grates for the natural gas model are horrible. I used the porcelain enameled grates it came with twice but couldn't take it. Everything seemed to stick even after spraying them the second time. Then it's like cleaning the broiler every time you use it. So I went to Home Depot and bought the cast iron grates for almost $70. Now I love the whole thing. I purchased the Weber to replace my 4 year old Kenmore that I paid $200 for. I was debating between the Weber and another Kenmore which was more expensive but also looked really nice. The problem with the Kenmore was that I'd still need to buy the natural gas conversion kit. I also knew that my last didn't last nearly as long as it should've so I called Sears. The guy I spoke with recommended the Weber. I'm hoping I get as many years out of it as some of the other reviewers have. I figure for the money I spent on it I'm being saved the hassle of refilling a propane tank, plus for the cost of propane it's cheaper in the long run.
Great grill; no problems at all. July 4, 2010 M. Dean (Burke, VA) First of all, the packaging was superb; everything inside was protected with very sturdy reinforced cardboard. It took a while to unpack, but the directions were super-clear, and assembly wasn't difficult at all. Take your time; read the directions; lay out the hardware first.
The grill itself is very attractive and functional; my prior Weber lasted 12 years, and I would hope to get a good long run out of this one.
Great Outdoor Cooker June 9, 2010 Tommy L. Vice Am totally satisfied, even heat distribution. No lack of heat, would advise lowest setting after warm up to cook on. Would recommend and would purchase again. Assembly not difficult, took about and hour.
I love it! December 30, 2009 Greg H. (Palmdale) Arrived right away! It was very easy to assemble and starts on the first try everytime. I have only had it a short time but it is by far the best B-B-Que I have ever had. Gets up to 600 degrees in no time. It cooks evenly and very few flair-ups. I can't say enough about it.
